MILA and ITDA bring together representatives of ports, transport and artificial intelligence industries
On 16 April, the Latvian Association for Artificial Intelligence (MILA) in cooperation with ITDA held an industry event “Smart Ports and AI: CO₂ Emission Management and Sustainable Flow Results”, bringing together representatives of ports and the transport sector, entrepreneurs, technology experts and representatives of the public sector.
The event aimed to highlight practical applications of AI in the port and transport sector and to promote cooperation between industry companies and AI solution developers.
During the program, participants got acquainted with current trends and practical solutions that can help improve efficiency, sustainability and data use in decision-making.
The event was attended by:
• Ēvalds Urtāns (ASYA) – AI news and technology development trends
• Elīna Lūse (ANIMAS) – a structured approach to AI and automation solutions in practice
• Līga Viņķele (Fintelligence) – sanctions and partner risk identification
• Agnis Jakubovičs (APPLY) – AI solutions in the business environment
• Kaspars Liepiņš (Ventspils Freeport Authority) – presentation of the MARTE project
• Evita Jaunozola (RTU) – EIT Urban Mobility opportunities
The discussions focused on CO2 emissions management, energy consumption optimization, process digitalization, and new cooperation opportunities between the port, transport, and technology sectors.
MILA expresses gratitude to ITDA for the successful cooperation and the opportunity to jointly organize an event relevant to the industry.
